Warehouse vs Stockroom - What's the difference? As nouns the difference between warehouse and stockroom is that warehouse is a place for storing large amounts of products (wares) in logistics, a place where products go to from the manufacturer before going to the retailer while stockroom is a location where a store keeps its stock (merchandise). As a verb warehouse is to store, as in a warehouse.
